Founder of Workplace Wellbeing, Jane Stevenson is a highly experienced specialist nurse practitioner, remote areas medic, and clinical educator. Following eight years as Head of a (Home Office) Occupational Health Department responsible for the health and wellbeing of a specialist law enforcement agency, Jane then joined a UK based medical organisation specialising in remote medicine in hostile environments overseas. During this time Jane set up and headed an international occupational health service, combining this with her role of implementing and teaching advanced first aid, and primary health care.
Jane has previously deployed as the team medic for several UK teams attending natural disasters overseas and, more recently, she has been the medic on several overseas expeditions, including the highly acclaimed BBC jungle expedition, “Lost Land of the Volcano”.
Currently providing bespoke occupational health and welfare services, for several small/ medium enterprises (SME’s), Jane also developed and implemented the occupational health module of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) Diploma in Remote Medicine, and also provides specific welfare programmes to several operational agencies, both in the UK and Internationally.
